Meet Vincent...
Vincent LeBlanc is a sociopath with a twisted outlook on love and death. After brutally murdering several women, the narcissistic Vincent finds himself sitting across a table from Detective Emily Cross.
This taut, well-crafted look inside the mind of a serial killer was originally written in 1993 as a short story by R. Michael Gull, using several real-life serial killers as models for Vincent. The story was adapted into a screenplay in 2007 by Gull, in collaboration with Jon Anne Willow, Jeff Lampton and Ben Budde.
The 16 minute short film is directed by Jason Williams and stars R. Michael Gull and Katie Shay, with appearances by Olivia Barash, Kelly Cunningham, Amy Elliott, Jessica Marking and R. Alice Wilson. Victim features an original score by Brian Jones, as well as original songs by Olivia Barash and Binky Tunny & The Farmland Chokehold.
Victim premiered May 30th, 2008 at the 10th Annual Milwaukee Short Film Festival. It won the Audience Favorite Award at the festival and is currently on the international film festival circuit.
Victim is scheduled for worldwide release online in late Summer, 2010.
